PUA Bari is a semantic search system on FAQs relating to the Single Access Door (P.U.A.) service of the Municipality of Bari.The user asks PUA Bari a question: What is an extension?. PUA Bari provides the FAQ closest to the question. PUA Bari sorts the FAQs by relevance, that is similarity to the question formulated, and presents them to the citizen. PUA Bari always guarantees certified answers: the FAQs are entered and validated by domain experts.PUA Bari understands natural language, automatically identifies concepts, eg. extension and renewal will be similar concepts for PUA Bari even if expressed in different terms. The results will thus be more accurate because PUA Bari understands the terminology used by the citizen and not vice versa.The user can report the absence of relevant FAQs with ease and can provide feedback on the quality of the response. The system automatically improves its performance thanks to user feedback using artificial intelligence techniques to refine its future performance.The P.U.A. service (Porta Unica di Accesso), financed by the Welfare Department of the Municipality of Bari, deals with the management of all activities, both in the front-office and in the back-office, in order to guarantee uniform access to the integrated system of social and health services. Based on the aforementioned regional and municipal legislation, the memorandum of understanding pursuant to art. 15 of Law 241/1990 between the Municipality of Bari and the ASL / BA, all the activities of the PUA that are the responsibility of the Municipality are included in the service, including those connected to the investigation of complex social and health assistance requests that require integrated interventions between the services social welfare of the Municipality and the health services of the ASL. These activities must be aimed at guaranteeing the best possible organization to support the UVM work in which the Professional Social Service of the Municipality of Bari participates and take the form of the preparation of the documents necessary for the socio / economic evaluation of all requests for social and health intervention. which arrive at the Single Access Doors activated by the area, in conjunction with the ASL / BA. The organizational secretariat of the UVM for social aspects must also aim at carrying out an action of monitoring the social and health needs and requests.
